Children’s book festival in the historic center of Havana

From April 1st to April 8th, Cuban children will have a special opportunity to have fun, learn and share literary pleasures during the Children’s Book Festival in Museum Classrooms, held in some of the cultural spaces of the Historic Center of Havana.

As reported on the portal Online of Cultural Havana, the Office of the City Historian, during the days of the literary festival there will be book presentations, creative workshops, performances, exhibitions and other literary offerings that will revolve around the central theme “A protective environment for children and girls in the cultural field”, based on an inclusive approach based participatory, and respect for their rights.

The events will include places such as the La Maestranza Children’s Park, the Historic Center Amphitheater, the Ruben Martinez Vilhena Public Library, the Historic Center Planetarium and other places that will celebrate the 218th anniversary of the birth of Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen. remembered Cuban Book Day, World Autism Awareness Day and Pioneer Day.
