‘AHS Fourth Congress’ Provincial Assemblies Begin in Guantanamo Bay

The first Fourth Congress of the Association Hermanos Saíz (AHS) of the provincial assembly is taking place this morning in the city of Guantánamo, with the participation of about thirty of the 60 affiliates that make up the organization in this eastern territory.

In Guantanamo, the Young Artists organization has sections for the plastic arts, audiovisuals, music and literature, as well as a cell in Baracoa, the province’s second largest municipality, he said.

The Fourth AHS Congress of the Provincial Assemblies will convene from today to June 24 in the country, which is an opportune moment to outline the directions of work for the five-year period, with arrow-like ideas meeting at the center of the goal of thought and commitment to art, culture and the Cuban revolution.

Among the main motifs of the conclave are the 60th anniversary of the Pavilion of Cuba, the site that represents the organization’s national headquarters, and the 170th anniversary of the birth of José Martí.
