Dogs don’t bark for fun

Around 10 am this Wednesday, I don’t remember the exact time, Sandy, my Pekingese dog, was barking loudly. I went out to scold him because he was annoying.

When I returned to the computer, the woman chairwoman began to walk on top of the table, and the chair on which I was sitting literally “danced”. I was a little scared, I confess, and was already thinking about the afterlife when I read on the Internet that it was an earthquake in the north of Honduras.

I remembered 2018 when we went outside, feeling a strong movement in the house; but this time it was not so serious. I asked the neighbors and only the one on the third floor felt it… the dogs don’t bark in jest.

* The network of stations of the Cuban National Seismological Service registered an earthquake, which was reported to be felt at 10:16 am at a point with coordinates 16.754 degrees north latitude and -86.073 degrees west longitude, at a depth of 10.0 km and a magnitude of 5.5, located 600 km southwest of Isla de la Juventud.
