Eighteen years later, I landed in Varadero full of joy as I set foot in Cuba again.

I never wanted to leave my homeland, but I did it for reasons that don’t matter today.

Miami, the cradle of hatred for Cuba, is full of this despicable trash who knows he has no chance of overthrowing the revolutionary government, but who screams in the streets of this city for the United States government to invade him. , overthrow socialism and plant a governor to restore capitalism.

I have just returned from Havana. I went to take a Cuban bath to confirm my love for this land and this city, which is my land and my city.

True, over the past 30 years I have left many times, but in three years I have not returned and was very happy to see that my feelings had not changed one millimeter.

I am a Cuban who has defended, defends and will continue to defend the free and sovereign Cuba that exists today, and the elections that took place last Sunday in absolute calm, without whistles, balloons and noise devices, as they are held in the Western world in which election campaigning, lies and promises are the established order.

On March 26, I saw how people went to the polls without any pressure from the authorities, because since voting is not mandatory, those who want to come to the polls come to the polls. The Cuban electoral system is very original. It is free from the pre-election campaign that intoxicates the citizens of many countries. I am happy that I returned to Havana after three years without going and checking out what I imagined. Despite the fact that the economic situation is very difficult, that inflation is colossal and that the population is experiencing countless hardships, I am confident that the Cuban people will come forward, as they have historically done at different times.
