A delegation of inexperienced athletes will travel to Bogotá, Colombia to compete in the 5th. The Parapan American Youth Games have received a national flag to accompany them to this continental event, which will begin on June 2nd and end on the 12th of the same month.

Cuba will have 21 athletes divided into the disciplines of paraathletics (6), paraswimming (5), para heavyweight (3), parajudo (1), goalball (4) and para table tennis (2). .

In addition, sports such as boccia, football for the blind, computer football, sitting volleyball, basketball and wheelchair tennis were convened. More than 900 athletes from 21 countries will take part in the competition, all under the age of 21, according to official Panam Sports figures.
