The presence in Turkey of the collaborators from the Henry Riva Brigade is an expression of the sense of solidarity of the Cuban people, Foreign Minister of the island Bruno Rodriguez Parilla said today.
In his official Twitter profile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the departure of 32 medical workers from Cuba to the Eurasian country demonstrates the support and sympathy of the Caribbean nation for the Turkish people after the February 6 earthquakes of magnitude 7.8 and 7.5 on the Richter scale.
Rodríguez Parrilla also shared a message from his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, in which he thanks the countries and international organizations that have offered their assistance in the face of a natural disaster that has killed more than 40,600 people so far.
“The images that come to us from our employees in Turkey speak of sensitivity and commitment, closeness and accompaniment, because our teams also leave a lot of that around the world,” the Cuban health minister recently wrote on the same social network. Portal of Jose Angel.
