The Center for Youth Studies (CESJ) is convening the First International Congress “Children and Adolescents Growing into the Future”, which will take place from May 28 to June 2, 2023 at the Plaza América Convention Center in Varadero.

The event will bring together guests from other countries and countries recognized as active in these sectors, such as Monica Borile from Argentina; Maria Isabel Dominguez Garcia, Silvia Navarro Quintero, Roxana Castellanos Cabrera, Francisco Cruz Sanchez and Ivan Barreto Helles from our country.

The events are part of the celebrations of International Play Day and International Children’s Day and aim to share views, experiences and challenges in the participation, care and well-being of children and adolescents in the field of science. and services.

You can participate in the following forms:

  • Presentation of the work. Researchers, project coordinators, communicators and other professionals whose work is directed at children and adolescents can present research findings and experiences. The presentations will take place in the form of an exchange.
  • Gallery of digital posters. Participants will be able to showcase their presentations or experiences with a digital poster (consisting of a png or jpg slide). The poster should reflect: the title of the work or experience, authors, purpose, methodology, results and conclusions. This should be sent to the email address: [email protected].

The appointment will also include a fair and a concept event related to businesses producing goods, products and services for girls, boys and adolescents, a theory event and an audiovisual exhibition aimed at girls, boys and adolescents, and literature for girls, boys and adolescents, between theory and practice.
