Cuba is represented by new destinations and attractions at the Mediterranean Tourism Exchange in Italy

Cuba stands out as a destination with new and attractive products during the 26th Mediterranean Tourism Market (BMT), which is taking place in the southern city of Naples, a representative of the island’s delegation said today.

Madelene González-Pardo, counselor at the Cuban Embassy in Italy and head of its tourism office, told Prensa Latina that, like every year, the Caribbean nation is successfully promoting its offerings, which generate wide interest among those attending the event. the most important of its kind in Europe.

González-Pardo leads his country’s delegation at the fair, which also includes the cultural official of this diplomatic mission, Gabriela Gamez, who, together with tour operators in this market such as Experience Travel, SoloCuba and Cubarama, among others, will present various products from Cuba Única promotions.

“Travel agencies and operators, both Italian and from around the world, receive detailed information about the potential and novelties of the Cuban destination, distinguished by its culture, traditions, history, nature, as well as the kindness and joy of our people,” said Gonzalez-Pardo .

In addition, he added, this space presents a call for the next edition of FitCuba 2023, which will take place from 2 to 5 May in Havana, the most important tourism event in his country, this year dedicated to cultural heritage.

BMT takes place from 16 to 18 March 2023 on an area of ​​approximately 12,000 square meters, where it welcomes over 400 exhibitors from 26 countries, and this year, around 22,000 professionals from the sector are expected to attend.
