Ines Maria Chapman, Vice Prime Minister of Cuba, today exchanged views with world leaders in the context of the celebrations of the 2023 United Nations Water Conference in New York, USA, publishes ACN.
Cuba’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Pedro Luis Pedroso, said on Twitter that the Vice Prime Minister, at the head of the Cuban delegation participating in the event, spoke with UN Secretary General António Guterres.
During the meeting, Guterres sent greetings to General of the Army Raul Castro and Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party and President of the Republic.

Chapman also met with Luis Arce, President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, whom he congratulated on his speech at the conference.
The event, which kicked off World Water Day this Wednesday and runs through Friday, is seen as a unique opportunity to accelerate the promise of world leaders to provide the world’s citizens with universal access to drinking water and sanitation by 2030.
