Roberto Morales Ojeda develops China schedule for his Asian tour

It was a great honor for me to start our visit to China with a tribute to Mao Zedong at the Mausoleum erected in his memory. This is a sacred place that must be visited not only by the Chinese, but by all the revolutionaries and communists of the world.

The visit to the Mausoleum, erected in memory of Mao Zedong, began the visit of Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Politburo and organizing secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, to the People’s Republic of China, which he arrived at noon this Sunday (local time).

“This is a sacred place that must be visited not only by the Chinese, but by all the revolutionaries and communists of the world,” Morales Ojeda wrote on his Twitter profile, referring to the Mausoleum.

Along with the Cuban delegation that accompanied him, he also visited the Chinese Communist Party Museum, a place he said made a big impression on him, where “the struggle and development of the Chinese people over the past 100 years is told in an entertaining and didactic way. “Years, with the CPSU in the Vanguard”.

The Politburo member was received by Liu Jianchao, head of the International Relations Department of the CPC Central Committee. In the course of a lengthy exchange of views, we recalled the close relations that unite our countries and our readiness to strengthen them with this visit.

The program, which began this Sunday, is part of an international tour of the socialist countries of Asia, which includes exchanges with the communist parties of China and Vietnam, as well as with the People’s Revolutionary Party of Laos.

Morales Ojeda will hold meetings with his colleagues, as well as with other guerrilla and state bodies. In the three countries there will be an exchange of experience on the processes of building socialism.

This will provide an opportunity to continue promoting political dialogue at the highest level and promote the development of economic, trade, financial and cooperative relations with these fraternal countries.
