CCP Delegation’s Official Visit to China Ends

The visit to China of a Cuban delegation led by the Organizing Secretary of the Central Committee of the Island Communist Party (CPC) Roberto Morales Ojeda ended this Thursday after an extensive program of activities in Beijing, the capital and the Municipality of Shanghai.

Through Twitter, Morales Ojeda emphasized that the five days of work in the Asian giant were fruitful and profitable, and in them both countries continued to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation.

In his message, the official thanked the Chinese Communist Party (PCC) for their attention, as well as for expressing appreciation and support for Cuba.

A delegation from the largest of the Antilles arrived in Beijing this Sunday to begin a tour of the three socialist countries in order to exchange with guerrilla and government agencies.

As the first event of its program, the Cuban mission visited the Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao Zedong in Tiananmen Square and laid flowers on behalf of the CCP, its government and people at the founder of the CCP and the People’s Republic. China.

The Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Central Committee of the PAC held meetings with the Prime Minister of the Asian country, Li Qiang; Cai Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the CCP Politburo; Liu Jianchao, head of the International Relations Department of the CPC Central Committee; and Chen Jinping, party secretary in Shanghai, among other Chinese authorities.

During the exchanges, it became clear that both sides confirmed their readiness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation as part of the path to building socialism.

The Cuban delegation also took part in the 5th Theoretical Seminar between the PKK and the PKCh, where problems in the construction of socialism were discussed, and as a culmination, two agreements on cooperation between the partisan and youth organizations of the two countries were signed.

In Shanghai, the delegation visited the Gouwei Civic Center, which Morales Ojeda described as a useful experience to work in Cuban neighborhoods.

The Cuban representation consists of Joel Queipo Ruiz, member of the Secretariat of the PKK Central Committee and head of the Economic and Production Department; Roberto Pérez Jiménez, Head of Organization Department; and Eileen Alvarez Garcia, First Secretary of the National Committee of the Union of Young Communists.

Morales Ojeda was also accompanied by the First Secretary of the Cienfuegos Provincial PCC, Maride Fernández López; Rector of the High School Ñico López PCC Rosario Penton Diaz; and head of the department of international relations of the Central Committee of the PAC, Emilio Losada Garcia.
