He said that the Cuban Communist Party highly values ​​political relations with the PNRL and is interested in strengthening them, and thanked for the constant support provided by Laos in the fight against the US economic, financial and trade blockade. , “a major obstacle to our development”.

He expressed interest in strengthening cooperation, especially in the field of health and sports, as well as in exploring new areas of cooperation in areas in which both sides have opportunities and interests.

After the meeting, three important documents were signed: a cooperation agreement between PPRL and PCC for the period 2023-2028 and a memorandum of understanding between the National Academy of Political and Public Administration of Laos and the Niko Lopez Higher School of the Party. Cuba.

An agreement on cooperation and exchange was also signed between the Union of Young Communists of Cuba and the Union of Laotian Revolutionary People’s Youth.
