Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, expressed his thanks on his official Twitter account this Saturday to the member countries of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), for demanding that the United States end the blockade that has been greatly harms the Cuban people.

The reports submitted before the XXVIII Ordinary Meeting of the Ministerial Council acknowledge the successful organization by Havana of the Sixth Conference on International Cooperation last November, the agreements of which were considered to be a pillar in the preparations for this event.
Member heads of state or government or heads of delegations ended the summit with a closing declaration in which, among the topics, they called for an end to the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba and the exclusion of the island. from Washington’s unilateral and arbitrary list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
