II Eurasian Economic Forum unites more than 50 countries

About 2,700 representatives from about 50 countries are taking part in the II Eurasian Economic Forum, which began on Wednesday in the Russian capital, the organizer of the event, the Roscongress Foundation, said today.

According to Prensa Latina, among the guests of the forum, whose motto is “Eurasian integration in a multipolar world”, 500 foreigners from 54 countries confirmed their participation.

Discussions at the forum are aimed at developing specific practical solutions aimed at the integrated economic development of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and the countries of this region.

In addition, the forum will become a platform for business dialogue, attended by more than 650 business representatives from about 450 companies, said Alexei Overchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

Representatives of the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the International Organization for Migration are also expected to speak, the leader said.

Overchuk stressed that one of the key discussions will take place within the framework of the meeting of the strategic block “Priorities of the Eurasian Economic Union 2030+”, which will be attended by Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia and Belarus Mher Grigoryan and Igor Petrishenko, respectively. .

The II Eurasian Economic Forum is held under the chairmanship of the Russian Federation in the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2023, the purpose of which is to improve cooperation in the space of this geographical space.

On May 26, 2022, the First Regional Economic Forum was held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
