Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and newspaper rebellious youth to convene a national competition for the chronicles of Enrique Nunez Rodriguez, as a sweet tribute, precisely in the year of his centenary, to one who was one of the most exalted cultivators of all time of this genre in Cuba, and also with the aim of promoting the production of costumebrist texts related to our popular and traditional culture.

Unpublished works may enter a competition that is not for editorials or other competitions, with a maximum of three pages. They will be sent in original and two copies to the newspaper Juventud Rebelde (Territorial and General Suárez, Plaza de la Revolución, Havana) or digitally to the email address: [email protected].

The admission period will end on April 30, 2023. The results will be announced in May this year.

The Jury will award one prize and any mentions it deems appropriate, and its decision will be final. Recognized works will be published in Jr and receive an accreditation diploma.
