The United States is a very complex country, both culturally and socially, ethnically or financially, with a diverse population in every way. Culturally, it’s a bunch of different ethnic groups. I do not have exact data, but, perhaps, there is no country in the world in which at least one of its citizens would not live. Although it will certainly be difficult to find it, it would be interesting to look for this information; Maybe it will show up in the census.

The variety of languages ​​spoken in this country is enormous, not only because of the millions of tourists who come every year, but also because of those who live here.

In northern California you will find thousands of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and generally Asians, and if you go south of the same state you will see millions of Mexicans and thousands of Central Americans. All the states bordering Mexico in the south are full of descendants and immigrants from this country.

Puerto Ricans are concentrated in northern states such as New York, and Mexicans are concentrated in the Chicago area, in Illinois. The country’s capital has a large concentration of Central Americans, mostly Hondurans, and if we go down to the south we find Florida, where everything is like in a pharmacy. But there are also concentrations from different countries. For example, in the center of the peninsula there are a large number
however, Puerto Ricans, where most of the population lives precisely in the south, especially in Miami-Dade County. It is here that the majority of the population of Cuban origin prevails. Cubans, who make up only 40 percent of the country’s population, dominate it politically. Most of the municipalities that make up the county are presided over by a mayor of Cuban origin, as are most local institutions.

When the Cubans began to arrive in Florida after the victory of the Revolution, there was already a small island colony, although the Colombians were at that time a larger colony, but in just a few years, the Cubans imposed themselves, while large waves of emigrants from Cuba arrived, such as the wave from Camarioka or Mariel, who brought tens of thousands of rafts to these shores and settled the population of Cuban origin as an ethnic majority.

According to the 2020 census, the Cuban population in the county was approaching one million, but in recent years, due to the challenges the country has faced (due to the pandemic that has sapped government resources and the criminal measures taken by the government of Donald Trump and supported by current President Joe Biden), a large number of emigrants arrived in this land. The curious thing about Cubans is that, despite being less than 0.50% of the country’s population, they have three seats in the Senate, which consists of one hundred senators, and about ten representatives in the lower house, which consists of 435 people. Well, it seems like an exaggeration, but you should see that there are more Cubans in the United States than there are residents in at least eight states of the union.

The curious thing about this representation in the federal government is that they all defend the government’s criminal policies against the country from which they or their ancestors come. They can be called Cubans because of their customs and origins, but politically they should be called anti-Cubans, because in fact they are, and they are here to harm Cuba, to try to pass anti-Cuban laws.

The Hispanic population has become the first minority in this country, and Cubans are among the top three in the vast majority of this population, but in percentage terms, they are the first percentage represented in Congress. How is this possible? Are we smarter and livelier than other Latin Americans? Should we Cubans who love and defend Cuba be proud of the triumph of anti-Cuban Cubans just because they are our compatriots? If they weren’t such scoundrels, so vile and haters, if they weren’t such enemies of our country, maybe we could be proud of them.
