There are simple words that become immense to capture a circumstance, such as “Here you have to work,” invented by compatriots who emigrated beyond new horizons. My ears are ringing at the mere imagination of an avalanche of explanations confirming whether this is true or not.

Here the phrase “They act as if we are paid, and we act as if we work” has a generalized category in the folk voice. Candle! Now the number of opinions confirming the truth or falsity of this statement is growing rapidly.

Both become widely replicated expressions when salaries lose their purchasing power, as at this moment, and they smell of that same Creole sense of humor, developed with such poignancy that we are able to laugh at our own misfortunes.

Strange coincidence? arises from the fact that both definitions are devoid of meridional reliability. Because? You don’t have to be a fortune teller, but you do need to know how to drop branches to get to the trunk.

In the subject of interest to us, the first approach proceeds from its prehistory, since we will see that among the emigrants, no doubt, there were people accustomed to work, even excelling in their craft and having received a university education in which discipline and purposefulness, as well as earning money on life.

It is not for nothing that our emigration in a general sense is considered the most competitive since the victory of the Revolution, thanks to the acquired cultural and professional level.

For those who let go of a thousand and one opportunities to succeed at their disposal, and even more seriously to work, it is always more difficult to achieve an advantageous economic position, wherever they are, and therefore they resort to expressions such as those in the first paragraph , for fear of failing because they don’t have, like here, the security of an exit thanks to family, partners or the state.

As for the second phrase, its falsehood is obvious: among those who promote our social project at this moment and before, there were and are outstanding workers, and others who do their job very well, regardless of more or more pesos. less weight.

Let’s leave clear, alas!, suspicious, the scale of wages, the one that is not sufficient to meet the needs and gives rise to a thousand and one problems at this crucial moment, as at other stages, but there were good moments too!

Undoubtedly, when the salary is not stimulating, it is difficult for many to be honest, and this affects society. Do you agree dear? I can feel your breath, yes.

We know that praise, if it is not bathed in abundance, is useless: it discredits, corrodes, corrupts and crushes with a very, very dangerous unreality.

And finally, what comment do you think they were going to make? Or have you forgotten the beginning? Candle! I think it’s something more than just darts. Migration is becoming a mass phenomenon, not invented by us Cubans, and in times of crisis, many people are trying to find a suitable place to live better. That is why they go to rich countries, with a certain social stability, especially to the USA, because they are “close” to us culturally, historically and geographically.

Morality? They learn at supersonic speed that if they don’t work there, they’ll be roasted and exposed to the sun. They have to adjust to strict discipline (no cell phones to their ears, no talking, no wandering between jobs) because if you don’t follow the rules, you’ll leave.

Impossible to be left in the dark, it would be unfair that the success of many in other rich frontiers began here and not there. With values, titles and skills to survive. Never forget this!
